The final night of Metallica's 30th Anniversary Celebration was truly something special. Two hours before the show rumors starting flying about who would be there, and every rumor turned out to be true. Ozzy was there. Geezer Butler was there. Oh and did I mention that Dave Mustaine played 5 tracks from "Kill Em' All" live on stage! Insanity! Check out the footage below!
Fourth Night's Set List: "Orion", "Through the Never", "Ride the Lightning", "The God That Failed", "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)", "Rebel Of Babylon", "Blackened", "Dirty Window" (with Bob Rock), "Frantic" (with Bob Rock), "Sabbra Cadabra" (BLACK SABBATH cover) (with Geezer Butler), "Iron Man" (BLACK SABBATH cover) (with Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler), "Paranoid" (BLACK SABBATH cover) (with Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler), "King Nothing" (w/ Jason Newsted), "Whiplash" (w/ Jason Newsted), "Motorbreath" (w/ Hugh Tanner), "Phantom Lord" (w/ Dave Mustaine), "Jump In The Fire" (w/ Dave Mustaine), "Metal Militia" (w/ Dave Mustaine), "Hit The Lights" (w/ Lloyd Grant, Dave Mustaine, Ron McGovney), "Seek & Destroy" (w/ Jason Newsted, Dave Mustaine, Lloyd Grant, Ron McGovney, Hugh Tanner, Mark Osegueda, and THE SOUL REBELS).
New cd "The Binding Cycle" by these fuckers is bad ass, i could do without the black metal vocals but the music is all over the place and wackthefuckadoodle, buy this fucker now....TMZee
The new cd by these fuckers kicks ass, it ain't no "Black Metal" or "At War With Satan" but that would be like expecting Slayer to recreate "Reign In Blood" or "Hell Awaits". New classics include "Nemesis" & Punks Not Dead" and more. With a bass heavy crunch and silly solos that will make ya head bang and smile for Satan, it's a return to glory for Venom, fo sho! TMZee

GWAR frontman Dave Brockie (a.k.a. Oderus Urungus) has released the following statement to MetalSucks:
"It is with a sense of profound loss and tragedy that the members of GWAR must announce the passing of their longtime guitarist and beloved friend Cory Smoot, also known to thousands of metal fans worldwide as Flattus Maximus. Cory was found deceased this morning as the band prepared for a border crossing. There is no word as to the cause of death and the members of GWAR are completely shocked and devastated that this has occurred.
"At this point, there is no word on arrangements and the disposition of the remainder of GWAR's current North American tour, nor are there any details regarding long-term plans.
"At this point, we are just dealing with the loss of our dear friend and brother, one of the most talented guitar players in metal today.
"We ask that our fans and the media be respectful of our request for privacy for those that have suffered this terrible loss. A full statement will be coming in the next day or so. In the meantime, please give your thoughts and your prayers to Cory, his family, and all the people that love him."
The FBI considers the fans of shticky rap group Insane Clown Posse to represent a threat on par with the Crips, Bloods, and Aryan Brotherhood, according to its annual report on gang activity.
You might think Insane Clown Posse’s people — known as the Juggalos — are just a group of face-painting teenagers who wonder how magnets work. Not so, says the FBI’s 2011 National Gang Threat Assessment. To the feds, Juggalos are a “loosely-organized hybrid gang” that are “forming more organized subsets and engaging in more gang-like criminal activity.”
Consult page 22 of the FBI’s brand-new annual report on gang activity nationwide. (.PDF) Listed in the same breath as street gangs with ties to murderous Mexican drug cartels is the Juggalo threat.
“Although recognized as a gang in only four states,” reports the FBI’s National Gang Intelligence Center,” many Juggalos subsets exhibit gang-like behavior and engage in criminal activity and violence.” It takes a footnote to disclose the connection to the Insane Clown Posse. Which would make rappers Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope the Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff or Tookie Williams of their nefarious Juggalo army.
Other gangs cited in the report, like the Haitian Boys Posse or the Custer Street Gang, are linked to homicides, gun running, and drug trafficking. Juggalo gang activity cited by the FBI cites is a notably lower caliber: thefts, hand-to-hand drug sales and felony assaults. The FBI has recently had difficulty distinguishing ordinary American Muslims from terrorists; now it appears it has a similar problem distinguishing teenage fads from criminal conspiracies.
“Social networking websites are a popular conveyance for Juggalo sub-culture to communicate and expand,” the FBI warns. Read more....

After a long and turbulent history with his band Dance Gavin Dance, lead singer Jonny Craig has again departed his constantly shapeshifting musical outfit. The frontman has been arrested after having been found to be in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
According to the Solano County Police's booking log, Craig is being held for $15,000. Craig has taken several other leaves of absence from Dance Gavin Dance many of them stemming from drug and alcohol related issues. His arrest has led to the cancellation of the band's tour.
Several months ago Craig admitted to swindling people out of thousands of dollars with fake laptop sales in addition to having just completed some time in rehab. Now Dance Gavin Dance will be going on indefinite hiatus so he can continue to get his life back on track.
Guitarist and co-vocalist Will Swan reportedly posted "Dance Gavin Dance is on hiatus until Jonny can get his life together. Tour is not the environment for that. That is all" after the band announced the news that the tour would be cancelled.
(NEW YORK, NY) - THROWDOWN have revealed a slew of new details surrounding their upcoming "Brawloween" tour happening later this month. The band has confirmed a touring lineup which is comprised of both familiar faces as well as some guests.
DAVE PETERS (vocals) (Throwdown 2000 - present) MARK MITCHELL (bass) (Throwdown 2007 - present) DAVE NASSIE (guitar) (Bleeding Through / ex-No Use For A Name) TIM "YOGI" WATTS (drums) (Demon Hunter, ex-The Showdown)
"I can't say I love having a chronically fragmented lineup for Throwdown, but it does leave the door open for cool opportunities like this. I'm VERY happy to be playing these shows with Yogi and Nassie as 'special guests' or whatever you want to call them under the circumstances. They're great guys and equally great musicians. It will be a cool thing for fans of the three bands too, as it's hard to say if or when we'd share a stage in the future. The only drawback is running the risk of them setting the sound bar too high for the next time we play in our backyard," says front man Dave Peters.
THROWDOWN will headline the first annual "BRAWLOWEEN," a brand new tour event which will stretch across the West Coast with support from CARNIFEX, FIRST BLOOD and SUFFOKATE. The band has also made a limited number of prints of the tour poster artwork by illustrator Dave Quiggle shown above. These exclusive prints will only be available at the Chain Reaction show on 10/23, get there early!
The band will mark their first live appearances in nearly two years by presenting a fan-favorite filled set list consisting of material from classic albums like Haymaker (2003) and Vendetta (2005) alongside select tracks from Venom & Tears (2007) and their eOne music debut, Deathless (2009). The album was produced by Mudrock (Avenged Sevenfold) and mixed by Zeuss (Hatebreed) and includes the XM / Sirius smash, "This Continuum."
The band is an internationally recognized heavy metal band with roots in the hardcore / punk scene. They have toured the world with acts like Killswitch Engage, In Flames, As I Lay Dying, Hatebreed, Chimaira, Korn, Machine Head, Arch Enemy and as part of Vans Warped Tour, Ozzfest and Sounds of the Underground.
THROWDOWN's "Deathless I" tour took place in November, 2009 and was followed by a spring, 2010 appearance at MusInk with Danzig. Dave Peters hosted MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball" which premiered two of the twelve music videos from Deathless which comprise a short film based on the album by Cale Glendening (Demon Hunter).

In 1980, British punk / metal crossover band ENGLISH DOGS was formed and gained immediate acclaim with top 10 indie chart releases. Though these initial releases were more straight-forward punk rock, the band's metal leanings appeared on the highly acclaimed "Forward Into Battle" record, released in 1985. The seminal album was a major influence on bands such as METALLICA and SEPULTURA, and this year the "Forward Into Battle" lineup of founding-member Andrew "Pinch" Pinching (also of THE DAMNED), Graham "Gizz" Butt (ex-PRODIGY, THE MORE I SEE) and Adie Bailey has re-grouped to again bring that record to life for North America. Support on the trek will come from THE CASUALTIES, TOXIC HOLOCAUST and HAVOK.
Commented Gizz: "In 1984 to 1986, me , Pinch and Adie were writing and recording some of the most important and influential songs of our lives and our 'Forward into Battle' album was the peak of our success. The American fans completely got it. Crossover had arrived!! Our 1985 debut USA tour exploded with sellout shows and sights we'd never seen before, queues half a mile down the street, moshpits and circle pits all night long. We have finally reunited to achieve a dream that has been going on for over 25 years. To realize the entire 'Forward Into Battle' album, along with 'To The Ends Of The Earth' EP, another ambitious milestone, live in all their glories, to North America."
Added founding ENGLISH DOGS member Pinch: "We were young and hungry for a musical challenge. The hardcore punk scene had become stagnant and new territories needed exploring. Adding Gizz to the band let us off the leash and we were able to wander down any musical alley we chose. We were 20 years old when we recorded 'Forward Into Battle', playing way beyond our abilities as musicians and lacking the studio technology to capture it. Now, 25 years later, we will finally be able to do this album justice, sonically. Live and in your face, the genre we helped to create is going once more 'Forward Into Battle'."
ENGLISH DOGS "Forward Into Battle" tour dates:

Listened to the Brand New Sin "United State" and not finding much to like in this hard rocker, except for "Bed Of Nails" and a cover of Black Sabbath's The Wizard the rest of it is quite weak and sackless. Their version of AC/DC's "What Do You Do For Money" is note for note perfect without any of the rasp you'd expect from an AC/DC cover, they might as well have made it a ballad, avoid.
Come this November, WINDS OF PLAGUE will be hitting the road with CHELSEA GRIN, AS BLOOD RUNS BLACK, FOR THE FALLEN DREAMS, UPON A BURNING BODY, IN THE MIDST OF LIONS, LIKE MOTHS TO FLAMES, and VOLUMES for "Thrash & Burn Tour 2011"! In regards to this upcoming trek, WINDS OF PLAGUE's Johnny Plague (vocals) comments: "We are very excited that our first US headlining tour in support of our new record 'Against The World' will carry the Thrash & Burn brand. In my opinion, this year's lineup is one of the heaviest lineups I've seen in a while. Each band will deliver their unique brand of crushing metal, and it will prove to be one hell of an evening for fans of heavy music. Our set will consist of an even balance of songs between our three records. We are pulling out all the stops for this tour--if you have seen us before, you've never seen us like how we will be on this tour."

Thirty six years after the release of the conservative rocker Alice Cooper's debut solo album "Welcome To My Nightmare" comes the sequel Welcome 2 My Nightmare. The album is chock full of the kind of diversity one comes to expect from the elderly madman, with contributions from Ke$ha, Buck Cherry, Desmond Child, John 5. Stand out tracks such as The Congregation (with back up vocals by horror schlocker Rob Zombie, I'll Bite Your Face Off and When Hell Comes Home (which feature O.G. Alice Cooper Band members) will make this album one of your favorites in no time. This album like classics just gets better with repeated play, so do yourself a favor and buy this now here @ Itunes.
Capital Chaos, founded & created by Zoran Theodorovic was originally created as music video television show to be aired on public access in Sacramento, California. Our first show aired May of 1998 and still runs weekly to this day. In the middle of 2005 Mr Theodorovic invited Clint A. & William P. to participate in the show and a Youtube channel and a website were created. At some point in 2006 Clint went on his way leaving William & Zoran to soldier on, which they did together until January 2012 where William was let go due to irreconcilable differences. Capital Chaos currently enjoys the company of Amb Pirate and Kevin Champ. A new Youtube Channel was created & the website switched to Facebook(because let's face it everybody is on Facebook all the time now and who wants to go to some silly website and miss out on very important Facebook stuff. LOL!!!) and Capital Chaos continues on.
