Canadian all-girl metal band KITTIE has posted a new song, "Cut Throat" on the group's MySpace page. The track comes off KITTIE's new album, "In The Black", which will be released on September 15 through E1 Music (formerly KOCH Records).
The track listing for the CD is as follows:
01. Kingdom Come 02. My Plague 03. Cut Throat 04. Die My Darling 05. Sorrow I Know 06. Forgive And Forget 07. Now Or Never 08. Falling Down 09. Sleepwalking 10. Whiskey Love Song 11. Ready Aim Riot 12. The Truth
KITTIE filmed a video for the song "Sorrow I Know" on Sunday, July 26 in New York City. The clip was directed by David Brodsky (SUICIDE SILENCE, GWAR, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER) and his crew at MyGoodEye.
David Lander, the father of KITTIE's Morgan Lander and Mercedes Lander (drums), died of a heart attack in August 2008. David Lander, who is said to have been in his early 50s, also managed KITTIE as part of X Of Infamy/K.M.A. Entertainment.
KITTIE last year parted ways with bassist Trish Doan and replaced her with Ivy Vujic of the Canadian band IN THE WAKE. According to a press release, Doan was diagnosed with the eating disorder anorexia-athletica-nervosa, which she developed during the recording of KITTIE's "Funeral for Yesterday", Doan's first release with the group.
"Funeral for Yesterday" — which was released via the band's own record label, X of Infamy — was recorded at Retromedia Studio in Red Bank, New Jersey with producer Jack Ponti, who has previously worked with BON JOVI, SKID ROW, and ALICE COOPER. The band mixed the effort with producer Kevin Shirley (IRON MAIDEN, DREAM THEATER).
"The Scars Between Us", the new album from veteran San Francisco Bay Area metallers SKINLAB, will be released on September 15 via Stand And Deliver Records. The band's video for the song "In for the Kill" — which is featured on the new CD — can be viewed below. The clip was filmed in May 2008 at the group's warehouse in Oakland, California with new, up-and-coming director Jourdan McClure and it features appearances by UFC fighter Nate Quarry and Greg Thompson.
SKINLAB released a live album, "SkinnedAlive!", in April 2008 via BCD Music Group. The CD was recorded on June 3, 2007 at The Metro in Oakland, California.
SKINLAB's last studio album, "ReVolting Room", came out in 2002. A double-disc set, entitled "Nerve Damage", featuring alternate versions of studio tracks, several live tracks recorded on the band's "ReVolting Room" tour, plus two new songs, came out in 2004.
The Melvins will release Chicken Switch, a 15-song remix cd with a twist, on Sept. 29 via Ipecac Recordings. Unlike usual remix cds where the remixer is given a single track to work with, for Chicken Switch each remixer was given a full album to work with and pull from to create their track (and in some cases, more than one full album was used as source material). The song names were also newly selected by their remixer.

The leaders of The Truth Movement, (Hed)pe and Cleveland’s pioneering masked madmen Mushroomhead are planning to hit the road this summer on a co-headlining tour sponsored by Jagermeister. Both bands are notorious for their energetic live performances and commanding stage presence that is sure to make this one of the summer’s hottest tours.
"It will be nice to tour with Mushroomhead for the summer. I've always admired how they have stayed hardcore and underground," says (Hed)pe frontman Jahred. "We finally found a band that isn't afraid to tour with us. Our live show is so high energy that a lot of the time bands won't want to go out on tour with us, because they would have to follow our set. Mushroomhead put on an amazing live show and can go toe-to-toe with anyone. This tour is going to give fans the best bang for their buck this summer."
"We definitely admire what Hed(pe) has accomplished and that they have kept active in the scene over the years much like ourselves. It has been awhile since we co-headlined with another band and we are very excited to see what will come of this tour," states ST1TCH of Mushroomhead
With their seventh studio album “New World Orphans”, (Hed)pe sent the youth of America a call to arms. The album, which mixes heavy thrash riffs with punk-rock and hip-hop beats, is more than new music; it shows the band exposing the corruption and the web of lies that are being force fed to the American youth. After a series of releases with major labels that stifled the band’s creativity, (Hed)pe has been embraced by an underground movement that celebrates the musical melting pot that their music exemplifies. The group’s video for their new single “Renegade” is available online at http://www.youtube.com/hedpetv Mushroomhead are currently completing work on their 7th album at their Filthy Hands Recording facility in Cleveland, Ohio which is due out winter 2010 via Megaforce/Sony Music. Produced by co-founding member and drummer Steve “Skinny” Felton, the yet-to-be-titled new album is promised to be the bands most vicious and ambitious sound to date! The band is also gearing up to take their hardcore vaudeville act on the road and will embark on a short run of dates on the Mayhem Tour alongside Marilyn Manson, Slayer and Killswitch Engage at the end of July and will then launch this summer tour with (Hed)pe which includes a stop at “The Rock The Ink Festival”. The band recently released their “Vol. 2” DVD last year which debut at #7 in Billboard’s “Top Music Videos” chart.

Capital Chaos, founded & created by Zoran Theodorovic was originally created as music video television show to be aired on public access in Sacramento, California. Our first show aired May of 1998 and still runs weekly to this day. In the middle of 2005 Mr Theodorovic invited Clint A. & William P. to participate in the show and a Youtube channel and a website were created. At some point in 2006 Clint went on his way leaving William & Zoran to soldier on, which they did together until January 2012 where William was let go due to irreconcilable differences. Capital Chaos currently enjoys the company of Amb Pirate and Kevin Champ. A new Youtube Channel was created & the website switched to Facebook(because let's face it everybody is on Facebook all the time now and who wants to go to some silly website and miss out on very important Facebook stuff. LOL!!!) and Capital Chaos continues on.
